National Science & Technology Park

Pakistan’s first National Science & Technology Park is being established at NUST to facilitate high tech R&D by bringing industry and academia from 8 key sectors at one location. Granted the status of high-tech Special Economic Zone, the park currently houses 60 companies | 23 Industries | 34 Start Ups | 10 International Tenants from 7 Countries.

Intellectual Property

We established Pakistan’s first university based IP office in 2011 to foster the culture of novel intellectual work amongst our researchers. Filed: 890 Awarded: 160

From Lab to Market

NUST is the 1st university in Pakistan to license innovation to industry, and thus take research outputs to communities where they are most needed. 60 Ips licensed to industry.

Cross Border Technology Transfer

We are all set to establish China Pakistan Technology Transfer Centre (CPTTC) at our campus to facilitate two way transfer of technology with our counterparts in China.

Technology Incubation Centre

131 companies have been incubated till date and with inception of STP on campus, the university has now expanded the place to be Pakistan’s largest incubation centre.

National Centres of Excellence

NUST is also the proud host of two out of the four national centres of excellence: The National Centre of Artificial Intelligence (NCAI) and The National Centre of Robotics and Automation (NCRA).

N-ovative Health Technologies (NHT)

Pakistan’s first facility for indigenous production of cardiac stents and angioplasty balloon catheters based on German Technology.
